Shaylie Yarbrough

Shaylie is a proud Lufkin native with experience in cheer, tumbling and gymnastics. She was a member of Academy Cheer Elite for 3 years while maintaining a 4.0 GPA at Huntington High School and taking college classes. During her time in high school, Shaylie held honors and participated in activities such as National Honor Society, Yearbook Staff, A Honor Roll, UIL competition, TAFE, Kyssed, Flag Team, and received the coaching certificate of achievement. She represented Huntington ISD as a Cheerleader all 4 years of high school while receiving awards for outstanding leadership, most confident and most dependable. Shaylie has coached cheerleading, tumbling and gymnastics for 4 years and is instructor certified. She has completed her cosmetology license and brings with her a well-developed work ethic from positions at jobs held in high school. Her passion for working with kids can be seen in her volunteer work at Neches House, a local food bank, and free gymnastics instruction during a National Gymnastics Day event. Shaylie brings her energy and knowledge to our coaching staff at Academy.
