Angela Holt

Angela Holt is an East Texas native. She began her dance career at age 4 with Thompson’s Studio of Dance in Lufkin. She continued to dance with Backstage Studios and Center Stage Studios in Waycross, Georgia from age 8 to 14. Angela danced and cheered in high school and college (Angelina College - Lufkin, TX and Westminster College - Salt Lake City, UT). Angela is also a former instructor and dancer of Gobel School of Dance (Nacogdoches, Texas). Outside of dance, Angela is married and a mother to a sweet daughter (born March 2020). She is also a Literacy Interventionist with Lufkin ISD. Angela was a member of Dimensions Contemporary Ballet Dance Company (DCB) during the 2015 season when it started and then joined again during the 2016-2017 season after taking a year off to begin her teaching career and marriage. Angela is a life-long member of DCB although she ended her dancing portion in January 2021. Angela joined the Academy staff in January 2022 and looks forward to continuing to teach and share the love of ballet.
